Technical and Fundamental Analysis

I am never a big fan of technical or fundamental analysis for 2 reasons.

First is, I am always under an impression that if there was a holy grail, then people would have uncovered it already (or will do in future) and since I am a strong believer of equilibrium, I felt that these holy grails will stop working once everyone starts following them. Equilibrium and probability are two things I believe the most. While the former one disrupts consistency, later supports it.

And second is that I don’t want to sit and stare at terminals all day long but instead want to hand on all my stuff to a bot or any algo mechanism. So, I started hunting for a holy grail but not from a technical or fundamental analysis standpoint but from other aspects of stock market like trading psychology, wealth management, portfolio concepts etc. And I am very fortunate to discover the fact that the real magic lies in Risk Management and risk management is everything in stock markets. You have many software to assist you in terms of fundamental and technical analysis to identify what stocks to buy but there is nothing as such to completely understand your portfolio’s risk management because your portfolio is like your fingerprint. Only you know your risk appetite, only you know your financial stability, only you know your responsibilities. And so, I started focusing on it a bit which changed my perspective on markets completely.
