Why many people fail in stock markets?

I think what spoils people in stock market (especially traders) is easy accessibility. Just because they have easy access to opening demat/trading account in under 10 minutes and start trading, people start gambling with stocks. Yes, I used the word “gambling” – I know many people would rant at me for using this word but my thought about it is that any field you enter into without knowledge is gambling, not just stock markets. Also, let’s agree to the fact that many people like stock markets to earn easy and quick money.

Imagine a decade old case where you have to wait for at least a day to invest (or trade) in any stock and then a day again to exit. To exaggerate more, let’s say you need a week or even a month to enter into a stock, then one would invest only after a bit of analysis because they again have to wait for another month (lack of accessibility) if they want to change their decision. If it happens, people losing money in latter case would be far less than the former one. I know I am not making any sense here but I always think to myself that harder accessibility would have saved a lot of my money during my initial foray into stock markets (just like many others out there) 🙂
